Removing tree parts from the backyard?
I live in a quadaplex house apartment in the city and we are responsible for landscaping (can you believe it?!) Apparently, there was a fallen tree in the back, it’s already been cut up, and there is a pile of tree parts in the corner (maybe 1 or pickup hauls worth). Is that something I can take to the dump? I’d much rather recycle it, personally, but if I take it to a tree disposal company, will they accept it?
Most cities have a pick up for these type of materials (leaves, branches, grass trimmings) and they do recycle them. The easy way to find out is to drive down your road and look for the best looking yard and ask the homeowner about pickup. You can call your local trash company and ask them and they may know but could take a few phone calls to find out who, when, etc.
