If you don’t feel like you will prosper in a group, then you can learn solo by finding a private teacher. This way, your teacher can give you more attention, and at the same time you won’t feel intimidated by other students. Having a personal teacher can also give you time flexibility, where you just have to set a schedule that is most convenient for both of you. You either choose to travel to the teacher’s studio or arrange for him to come and teach you in your home.
The last option you have is learning through online courses. There are some websites that provide materials like musical pieces, instructions, or even videos for cello students. This kind of set-up is convenient for some people, but it can also be difficult, especially if you are a beginner and want to ask specific questions to an instructor.
Factors like the location and reputation should also be considered in choosing a cello school. You can also conduct some research to find out which of them offer what you need. As long as you know what you’re looking for, it will be easy to choose the right cello music school for you.
