Will this strat body fit my guitar?
I have a highway one strat with 22 frets, but I want to replace the body. I’m thinking about replacing it with this:

I have two concerns:
That this body was made for a strat with 21 frets and will throw intonation waaay off.
That my S-S-S pickups won’t fit into the H-S-S body.
Could someone please explain to me if I’ll encounter problems? or if this body is okay? thanks!
Hi! As far as the additional frets, you will still have the same 25 ½ inch scale length, it is just that your neck (which should be notched at the high end) will slightly overlap the pickguard and neck cavity. Regarding the routing for the pickups, check out the “universal” routing on the Stewart-MacDonald site ( http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bodies,_necks,_wood/Electric_guitar:_Bodies/1/Strat_Bodies/Pictures.html#details ), which to me looks pretty much identical in the relationship of the bridge opening to the first pickup (to the eBay example). I would offer that you should not have any problems fitting your current pickguard assembly into the referenced body, and the strings will intonate perfectly; however, I would caution you that the width of your neck (major problem!) and the neck and pickguard mounting holes (minor issue) may not match the eBay body, so make sure to check that out with the seller.
