How To Utilize The Picasa Video Maker

Are you familiar with the Picasa video movie maker in Google’s popular photo organization software? There are two main kinds of videos that you can make, a regular slideshow video and a face movie. This article will talk about how you can generate a Picasa video through these two methods. An Excel consultant who offered consultancy in Excel courses Sydney and website design Auckland provided the following information.

One kind of Picasa video that you can make is a normal slideshow video that is very much like those that you can create using other basic video editing application. To start a new slideshow movie, select the photos and video clips that you want to incorporate on your video, in the Picasa library. Then, click on the movie icon which can be found in the buttons at the lower part of Picasa. This will launch a new movie maker tab. There you can now add audio tracks, choose the transition style, set the dimensions, add slides, and set video customization options. Once you are done, hit the “Create Movie” button to finish your movie.

The face movie is the second type of Picasa video that you can create.  This kind of video is recommended if you wish to make a special slideshow video of someone with his or her pictures. Using facial recognition technology, this type of video lets you make a slideshow of the photos that is centered upon a person featuring smooth transitions that are focused on the face.

To create a face movie, first you need to select pictures of the person that you want to dedicate the video to. Solo pictures are more ideal in order to make the facial recognition more accurate. After that go to “Create” in the menu bar, highlight “Movie” and select “From Faces in Selection”. This will take you to a movie maker tab in Picassa where you can preview the video, set the video customization options, select transition effects, and add music to the video. Once you are through editing the video, press the “Create Movie” button.

In addition, Picasa video allows you to easily export the movies that you create in YouTube with just a click of a button. To do so, click the “YouTube” button instead of the “Create Movie” button when finishing your video.
