As to the extent of understanding must you know to become good guitarist?
I am learning to play guitar and that i was curious what must you know to become a good guitarist like understand how to read notes, possess the feel in playing music, good rhythm technique, know different approaches to guitar, playing tunes by ear and etc.
I’ll let you know things i do, becasue it is employed by me pretty much. I am a carrying out singles act, playing guitar and singing. A few occasions every month I perform a band factor too. But mostly I actually do solo for eight shows per week in a local “fine dining” place and also have been doing this for 10 years now. Rules I live and eat are:
1. Play everyday.
2. Be heard every single day.
3. Remember every single day the reason why you do that which you do.
4. Keep a wide open musical mind to any or all genres of music.

5. Avoid all major drug habits, they don’t cause you to play better apart from in your mind.
For techniques and more, they’ll develop by themselves, whether you would like them to or otherwise, as lengthy as you are playing daily. Learning music theory might help, but I have been playing my existence and not required training, that is true for many of my music performer buddies too. I actually do have one friend which has a BA in music, but I have i never thought he was any best than other people.
