Is learning how to play the banjo from a book effective?
I’m very interested in learning how to play clawhammer style and even Scruggs style. Though, money is tight and I would definitely prefer to buy a book than pay approximately $180 for 8 weeks of lessons.
Are there any books that you recommend if self teaching is a good approach? Thanks!
