What’s the best/are the most useful Pat Metheny albums?
I have been meaning to hear his music a lot more, but I’m not sure how to start. I do not usually like jazz fusion a great deal, but I wish to pay attention to Pat Metheny. Recommendations? Thanks

This is a tough someone to answer since Pat has launched a large number of albums and that which was good way when may seem dated today. Nevertheless, the overall consensus is the fact that 1978′s “The Pat Metheny Group” still stands as his masterpiece.
