Best guitar strings for playing harder music: Metallica, Black Sabbith, Soundgarden, Godsmack,?
If you want that raw, thrashy, crunchy sound from earlier MetallicA albums [Kill'em All, Ride the Lighting] then 9 Gauges would be good. But MetallicA eventually moved up to 10 Gauges and went on and off. Black Sabbath most likely uses 10s since they are downtuned. Soundgarden can suck my balls. Godsmack most likely uses 9s
