zakk wylde guitars?
i know zakk wylde uses gibson les pauls, his own signature models. but there are some flying v guitars that he used on some of his music videos with Black Label Society. i was just curious as to what brand those flying v guitars he is using. i tried to do a zakk wylde guitar collection search and all that seemed to come up was info on the les paul models he has gibson make for him. the dvd that i seen these other guitars on is the Black Label Society… the European Invasion,,, Doom Troopin…. F*#king awesome video.. any Black Label Society fan needs to get that dvd
in response to the first answer. i dont think its gibson the style of the guitar looks like its more along the line of jackson possibly. it has a jackson style head stock and the bottom of the headstock has a hook shape.
He has a load of guitars, and he has a few gibson flying Vs with polka dots and a jackson Randy Rhoads in white- probably what youve seen in the videos. he also recently recieved one from dean with a sharp V body style with SG style horns on the top, the headstock is a sharp variant of the standard dean headstock– its in his classic bullseye design but a little ragidly painted. Those are all the V looking ones Ive seen, he also has two double neck SGs, one white one black.
I dont have that dvd sadly, I have the one with the detroit chapter(boozed broozed and broken I think its called).
