Can I turn a fender telecaster into a metal guitar?
What would i need to do to customize it and make it sound metal?I know I need new pickups but what else?
Just get some hotter pickups and gauge up your strings. Just make sure that when you go up to a higher gauge you adjust your truss rod accordingly. If you don’t know how to adjust it, don’t just wing it. Bring it to someone who does know how. Trust me, if you snap your truss rod it’s not fun to replace.
