Is it possible to record from a vcr to my panasonic dvd video recorder?
Just not sure what leads to use and whether possible to transfer video tapes to dvd, thanks

You can do it if they are your own homemade tapes. If they were commercially recorded you will have to bypass the copy guard. It is legal to make backup copies for your own use.
You will have to get a device like “Sima T120 GoDVD”. It removes the copy guard and enhances the picture. You plug your source into it and plug it into the input of your recorder.

Connect the output of your VHS to the input of your DVD recorder and copy away.
