Revolver Blueing?
Can you really have a stainless-steel revolver for example S&W model 619 blued? The only real finish available was but still is SS however i prefer the feel of blue . Will it be easy to play one individuals cold blue kits or wouldn’t it have to be made by a professional having a hot blue method?
Stainless won’t take ‘blue’ since the blue surface is really a kind of corrosion or rust….not to mention stainless don’t rust.
Now, use a very durable product known as Duracoat. It might be just a little more expensive but apply for any color or camo immaginable.
Also, you are able to take your revolver to some good sandblasting and beadblasting guy and that he could make that stainless possess a dull satin finish that appears sorta like titanium.
