Which songs are good for a beginning guitar player on an acoustic guitar?
I don’t care if its chords or tabbed notes, just something simple to help me get better. Thanks
I learned Nirvana songs when I first started out. They were challenging cause of the speed, and picking yet still only a few easy (power chords) to remember. They would be even more challenging on an acoustic.
A lot of hits from the nineties were more about songwriting than technical prowess..so look for stuff like Lit, Tantric, Stone Temple Pilots, Pixies, Linkin Park.
If you want something you can sing along to, Flaming Lip songs are easy to learn.
