CUPERTINO, California—November 1, 2011—Apple® today introduced that
GarageBand®, its breakthrough music creation application, has become readily available for iPhone®
and ipod device touch® customers. Introduced captured on iPad®, GarageBand uses
Apple’s revolutionary Multi-Touch™ interface to allow anybody to
create and record their very own tunes, even when they’ve never performed a musical instrument
before.
“GarageBand on iPad is a large hit and that we think clients will like using
it on their own apple iphone or ipod device touch,” stated Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice
leader of Worldwide Product Marketing. “The innovative Multi-Touch
