Does anyone know a good C++ beginners book?
I am looking for a book that teaches you C++ and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I have never programmed in C++ but I know the basics of java and object oriented programming. It would be nice if the book included a compiler or at least recommended a cheap one. Thanks for your suggestions.
Try Jesse Liberty’s Teach Yourself C++ in 24 Hours. You can get it from Sam’s Publishing, Barnes and Noble, or Amazon. It’s a complete starter kit, so it includes a compiler.
