May be the series “Playing Guitar Done Affordably For Everybody” by J. Estella and G. Roberts still available?
I do not such as the Mel Bay Modern guitar books (etc.) I see available…they’re going too quickly, require an excessive amount of understanding not given within the books, and discover them very frustrating to make use of when teaching a young child how you can play guitar. However, the Estella books take a measure at any given time, explain e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g so there is nothing left to chance, and help establish a student in music theory because they learn how to chord and play notes. Excellent material! I simply wish I’d more recent copies compared to ones I learned from nearly 4 decades ago!
